Well I was born 16 years from today. I'm sure my mother cherishes the memory of labor C:

So sometime next week I think I'm gonna skip a soccer practice so I can take my permit test so I can DRIVE

My Parents decided that they wanted to get me a laptop for my birthday. Which surprised the CRAP out of me. BUT I'M NOT COMPLAININ' CAUSE IT'S GREAT 8D

So I picked one out at a store in Delaware this weekend when we went down to visit my grandparents, and my dear sweet Grandfather helped pay for it. My real birthday's in the end of September, but my mother said I didn't have to wait C|

It's mainly for artwork, cause my sister is leaving for college again, and I won't be able to use her laptop, and photoshop runs ungodly slow on our pc. BUT it does have a built in webcam (I have windows live messenger if anyone's interested in chattin' and I bought World of Warcraft.

I haven't used the webcam much yet, but I want to.

So how about it's 1:39 in the A-M. I'm sitting at my desk, mindin my own business, tryin to update my freakin journal, and a bat flies out of my closet. Not the kind that you hit balls with. It was cute though, so I forgave it |D Not the first bat I've had in here either... But it took me like... 30 minutes to find him from behind my dresser and catch him under a bucket. I let him go outside. Poor thing was covered in dust.

Guess what I found curled and squirmimg in the parking lot of our local gas station? A baby mouse. I couldn't leave the poor thing. So my brother and I took it home. His eyes are closed, but he has fur, so that makes him about a week and a half old. I named it Sampson, cause he's so tiny. (Ha, I don't even know if its a boy or not. Oh well.) We put him in a hat on a mobile heater.

So I bought baby formula, a pipet, and woke up every hour last night to feed him. Unfortunately, my father will hear nothing of it. BUT I believe my dedication last night won over my mother. Yayz. She said I'm aloud to take him with us to our cottage when we leave today for the week. I'm kinda scared as to what his reaction will be... He didn't even let my sister bring her hamster home from college. And I'm afraid I won't be able to take him with me when we go to North Carolina in two weeks. So my choices are as follows:

1) Get someone to hold onto him for me... Not likely
2) Find a pet store that will tke him... Saddening, but likely
3) Stick him under a bush and let nature take its course... NOT WHILE I'M ALIVE 'N BREATHIN.

So yeah. He's really cute.

Well, our annual show choir concert, Showcase, is coming up this weekend. It'll be my first year it senior high showchoir, as opposed to junior high last year. We're doing some really awesome songs. "Please Don't Stop the Music", "Don't Nobody Bring Me No Bad News", "The Song of Purple Summer", the guys' song is "Paralyzer", and the girls' song is "The Shoop Shoop Song (It's In His Kiss)".

Well, I was the only freshmen to try out for the solo in the Shoop Shoop Song.
And I got it.
Now I'm scared.
